Fleming Gulf Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Forum 2012

Human capital development in oil, gas and petrochemical industry has been among those issues under scrutiny for established theory. The conference toastmaster Dr Harmaneh allowed me 20 minutes to deliver the issue in strategic entrepreneurship. The study justified human capital development and tacit knowledge were dimensions of knowledge. Both dimension adequately justified significant variance among 615 observations in determining firms' efficiency and effectiveness, moreover in the presence of higher environmental hostility, dynamism and munificence. The study contributes to knowledge-based view and contingency-interaction theory.
